Free Internet Dial up

Now everybody likes something for free and this is what this is, in the first thread on Free Internet in Thailand (Free Internet in Thailand - Everywhere) it was about using internet cafes for free, this thread will teach you how to use dial up for free, well, you still have to buy an initial week with TRUE or loxinfo or whatever ones there are in Thailand and still have to pay the 3 baht telephone connection charge, but you will never have to buy more dial up time, remember you have to buy a week, not sure if the hours one will work although can't see any reason why it wont.
So lets have a look at how and why this works, now dial up in Thailand doesn't work with linux, thats a strange thing isn't it, works with windows though, windows has a connections manager tied in with internet explorer of all things, and thats the rub.
Now companies that do dial up are worried that Billy Bob will buy a week of internet and then give the user and password to all 24 of his brothers and 12 of his sisters, they aint going to make much profit on that with all of them downloading incest porn movies, so security must be more aimed at the PC rather than the phone number.
So how to get your free dial up internet in Thailand, buy a one week internet card, about 99 baht I think, fill out your connections manager, pretty sure the phone number for all now is 1222, make sure it works and you connect to the internet ok, now comes the clever tricky dicky bit, go into ie tools, internet options, connections, check the box never to dial a connection, click settings, uncheck all boxes, ie automatically detect settings, use automatic configuration script and the proxy one, yep thats right you are basically turning internet explorer off.
Now connect to the internet and open firefox or chrome or whatever other browser you have and enjoy a lifetime of free internet.
